HISTORY
Desinged by famed architect, Nico van der Meulen, Cielo nel Capo is located in one of South Africa's most sought-after suburbs, nestled up against the Vlakkenburg Mountain, surrounded by magnificent views of False Bay and the mountain ranges east of Cape Town. It is situated in the renowned Price Drive in the quiet and private area of Constantia-Wittebomen, known for its beautiful greenbelts, wine farms and large lavish properties. Not to mention its abundance of local wildlife. Cielo Nel Capo has featured in Hollywood, Bollywood, and European films as well as many advertisement campaigns. Architect, Nico van der Meulen designed this masterpiece to resemble a Tuscan villa. The lower levels of the structure present an aged appearance, whereas the higher levels progressively offer a more modern look. Construction was completed around the year 2000, and it has been well maintained since completion.

The large entertainment on the middle floor integrates the kitchen (open plan, but can be closed off), lounge, bar and a lanai (fully enclosed veranda) with its own lounge and dining table (seats 14). This area faces one of the best views in Cape Town. Glass sliding doors stack away to transform the area into an open-air zone. It also overlooks the indoor pool. The area features a large gas barbecue, two electric pizza ovens and serving area. A small games area that includes a pool/snooker table and dartboard completes the facilities.

BESPOKE DINING ROOM
The custom-built dining room table was tailor-made for the room, and seats eighteen guests. It includes a counter with built-in hotplates, surround-sound audio system, mood lighting, and climate control. The table was crafted by a renowned Italian craftsman, with decorative inlays. The table can be divided into three sections, to seat fewer (by removing one section), or can be converted into three separate tables that seat eight guests each.
